USNA Alumni Association

In our ever increasing effort to get information to you as quickly as possible I encourage you to subscribe to the Official USNA Alumni Association Listserve at

                [email protected]

This is the beginning of "Flashnet" that I have spoken to many of you about and is addressed in my President's Call in the November issue of Shipmate on page 4. To those of you who represent your Class, Chapter or Parents Club, please encourage your members to subscribe as well. This will help us to get the GOOD NEWS as well as any potential problems out to you ahead of the media. Our objective is to provide you the facts in a timely manner so that you do not have to rely on the media's interpretation of the situation.

To subscribe send mail to

                [email protected]

THIS WILL BE STRICTLY A SOURCE OF OUTGOING INFORMATION FROM THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND THE NAVAL ACADEMY. REPLIES TO THIS ADDRESS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you wish to correspond with us on particular issues you may do so through any of the Association addresses listed in Shipmate on the Staff and Assistance page. For technical difficulties send mail to

We will be posting information as frequently and as close to real time as possible. The subject line will be descriptive allowing you to pick and choose the subjects you wish to read and delete those that are not of interest to you.

We are anticipating a Web Page in 1997, and we will provide you more information on that as it becomes available.

Sincerely
